I wanted to try out doing macro shots and my engagement ring was the first thing I saw. I used the 450D kit lens for this one, it’s not a macro lens, but gotta go with what I have

I also took a hobby assignment to photo five most important possessions. This would be one of them.

Here’s my engagement ring for all of you who haven’t had the joy of seeing it. Bri proposed with a diamond, although I had mentioned that i didn’t really want one. After a few weeks of catching it on my clothes and scratching him, we traded the diamond in and replaced it with this fine specimen. once we get married i’ll retire this guy and replace him with a band.
